Our Espresso Cups are individually hand-thrown and hand painted by the talented Jane Overbury. They are hand thrown on the wheel, then bisque fired in a kiln. The dachshund is then drawn on in pencil and then they are all hand painted using underglaze. Finally, they are then dipped in transparent glaze and fired again to 1250 degrees. The makers mark is stamped on the base, a snowflake and initials FJO.
