Our Climate Commitment

Ecommerce businesses leave a a carbon footprint due to the nature of delivering your orders across the world. That's why we support cutting-edge companies that remove carbon from the air, and neutralise our carbon impact. Find out more below...

Our new sweatshirts are made from a combination of both Organic Cotton and Recycled Polyester, reducing the amount of new crude oil needed in producing plastics.

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is based on both ecological and social criteria and certifies that the cotton is organically grown, without the use of genetically modified seeds or any harmful chemical products. Our tees are made from 100% organic cotton!

All the packaging that we use to ship our orders is fully recyclable. The cardboard boxes, cardboard mailing bags, packing slips, discount cards and inserts can all be placed in your kerbside paper and cardboard recycle bins.

Our hoodies and striped tees come in plastic packaging that can be recycled at your local supermarket, but we are working hard with our suppliers to remove this plastic, as we deem it unnecessary and wasteful.

Like most global fashion brands, we don’t own the mills, factories, and production facilities that make our garments. Still, we see it as our responsibility to ensure a safe and fair working environment. We try to ensure that we partner with ethical manufacturers who pay fair living wages and ensure their staff are treated fairly and with respect. Although we aim to source our products from the U.K. to reduce carbon emissions, we are open and transparent about where our products are made and manufactured around the world.

All our greeting cards and stationary is printed on fully recycled card, and this can then be further recycled again by the recipient in the cardboard kerbside collections.

Understanding Carbon Removal

Grassroots Carbon helps ranchers modify land management practices to improve soil and ecological health, which captures and stores more carbon in soil.
